BOTOX®
What is BOTOX®?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine made of purified protein, commonly used to temporarily improve moderate to severe wrinkles. Although it is a non-surgical procedure, Botox should always be administered by a physician and preferably a certified plastic surgeon. It is a non-surgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. More general – botox is injected in many different places.
Benefits of BOTOX®
BOTOX can make you look 5 years younger in 10 minutes. Botox works by blocking nerve impulses to the muscles treated, thus lessening muscle activity which causes wrinkles and lines to form on the face. The majority of patients require more than one treatment to remove these wrinkles and lines when they begin to reappear as Botox is not permanent. However, with each injection the wrinkles and lines return much less defined than before any treatment. This is because the muscles become trained to relax, and your wrinkles fade and soften with each treatment.
