Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes ultrasound therapy to stimulate collagen and elastin production within the skin to produce natural-looking results. This treatment can be used to lift the neck, chin, and brows, as well as improve lines and wrinkles on the upper chest.

How does Ultherapy work?
Ultherapy uses microfocused ultrasound to generate a thermal effect under your skin. This effect essentially jump-starts your body’s own process to create fresh, new collagen and elasticity.
What can you expect with Ultherapy?
After cleansing the skin and identifying the specific areas to be treated, your Ultherapy technician will apply the ultrasound gel and place the smooth treatment applicator against your skin. During the treatment, you will feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited under your skin, indicating that the collagen-building process has been initiated. Comfort levels can vary from client to client, but you may experience the sensation of heat and/or tingling while the energy is being delivered.
What are the Ultherapy pre-care instructions?
Before starting this treatment, a dr LASER spa consultant and our Ultherapy consultant will assess your skin, address your concerns and determine if you are a candidate for Ultherapy. There are no pre- or post-treatment skin care requirements associated with Ultherapy, so once you book your customized Ultherapy treatment, you can relax and enjoy the results.
What areas can be treated with Ultherapy?
Ultherapy can be used to treat:
- Full Face
How long do Ultherapy treatments take?
Ultherapy treatment length depends on the area being treated. A full face and neck session typically takes about 60-90 minutes, while treatment for the upper chest (décolletage) takes approximately 45-minutes.
How long does an Ultherapy treatment last?
Ultherapy stimulates a person’s own collagen production so it depends on the individual. While results appear over two to three months, they can last up to a year or more. The treatment produces new collagen on the inside, but the individual’s natural aging process will dictate how long that translates into visible results on the outside. Future touch-up treatments can help provide more control over the aging process.
How many Ultherapy treatments does it take to see results?
You will see the results of Ultherapy after one treatment. The majority of clients only need one treatment but some may benefit from more than one session. The number of sessions needed depends on: how much skin laxity a client has, their own biological response to the ultrasound therapy, and the collagen-building process. Receiving an Ultherapy session each year may help to maintain the results.
What are the side effects of Ultherapy?
There might be slight redness that typically resolves within a few hours following the treatment. Some patients may have slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary.
Can Ultherapy replace a facelift?
Ultherapy treats the deep foundational layer addressed in cosmetic surgery, but won’t duplicate the results of a surgical facelift. This treatment is a great alternative to clients who are not ready for surgery.
